The implications of the church being “the family of God,” together and intergenerational worship and learning experiences are areas of passion for Trevecca. She has researched Christian faith formation of children and the role of parents and grandparents in the faith formation process.
On a personal note, Trevecca has been married for nearly 45 years to her best friend and partner in ministry, Dennis Okholm who is also a professor at Azusa Pacific University and ordained as a priest in the Anglican Church in North America, C4SO diocese. They have two adult children, one amazing son-in-law, and two delightfully adorable granddaughters.
